This presentation covers how bp’s US Pipeline & Logistics organization — managing roughly 3,200 miles of pipeline across two regions — moved from an entirely paper-centric process for alignment sheets and regulatory reporting to a centralized digital system built on PODS.
Facing a large backlog of records and multiple disconnected sources of truth, the team built OneMap as the sole source for documenting change, centralizing management of change into PODS. The results: a 16x reduction in turnaround time on field-generated reports, roughly $500K in avoided third-party processing costs, and over 22,000 views of the OneMap application since launch.
