This session covers the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) minimum requirements for 2024 and beyond, and how operators can use PODS and Esri software together to meet them. It covers the benefits of the PODS data model — an open, Esri-compatible, linear-referenced database architecture — and highlights that PHMSA itself uses the PODS Data Model as the baseline for organizing NPMS data.
