• Fundamental Understanding of PODS 7 & Modules
• Abstract: The release of PODS 7 Utility Network + APR is a significant advancement. By including Network Management capabilities, ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing may be strategic, supplementing the PODS traditional Linear Referencing data model approach. Including a Utility Network within PODS provides a comprehensive framework of functionality for the modeling of utility systems. These systems include pipe, wire, valves, zones, devices, and more. The Network allows users to build real world behavior into the network features being modeled.The PODS Data Model provides the database architecture pipeline operators need to store critical information, analyze pipeline systems data, manage geospatial data and submit regulatory reports if required, now in a linear-referenced database which can be visualized in any GIS platform. The PODS Pipeline Data Model houses the attribute, asset information, construction, inspection, integrity management, regulatory compliance, risk analysis, history, and operational data that pipeline companies have deemed mission-critical to successfully managing natural gas, hazardous liquids, renewables and water pipelines.

• Abstract: This technical presentation explores the critical role of establishing an enterprise data dictionary for both internal stakeholders and external service providers. Building on this foundation, the session will demonstrate how to integrate siloed operational data into a unified enterprise environment. It will cover strategies for identifying data gaps through automated rule sets and leveraging data correlation to create an accurate, real-time operational dashboard. Additionally, the presentation will outline best practices for building and maintaining this dynamic environment as new operational and project data becomes available.

• This panel will dive into real-world applications that ADNOC is using to optimize in-ground assets and capitalize on real-time digital asset knowledge management.

2:30 PM – Geonamic – Technical Presentation – Download Presentation

• Abstract: This technical presentation will include several examples and live demonstrations of leveraging your investment in PODS to support asset management, integrity management, and risk assessment. Geonamic will demonstrate the advantages of a PODS enterprise data model through various applications deployed on the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro platform. This will include desktop and web-based data integration, visualization and reporting examples, using asset and inspection data managed in PODS. In addition, PODS-based class location analysis examples will be demonstrated with ArcGIS Pro. Finally, risk modeling examples will be reviewed using PODS as a primary system of record for risk inputs and result management.

• This panel will provide a review of lessons learned from OQGN’s implementation to PODS 7. This will include a discussion of migration tools and techniques, QA procedures, configuration of Esri APR tools, and implementation of Geonamic integrity applications against the new PODS 7 model.

• PODS Strategic Migration Award: OQGN, Sponsored by Geonamic
• OQGN is the newest PODS Member in the Middle East and the newest Operator to adopt the PODS 7 model. Thus, PODS is honored to present to OQGN the “Strategic Migration Award” awarding a new Operator member using the PODS model for the first time. OQGN had a successful implementation of PODS in 2024 representing a “best in class” new system and have been able to showcase immediate improvements and success within their organization including pipeline safety, asset knowledge management, regulatory compliance and optimized operations. This organization showcased stellar implementation both with their teams, leadership and partners.
