PODS Association Hires Executive DirectorDear PODS Members and Associates, I am very pleased to announce that Janet Sinclair will be joining the PODS Association as the Executive Director effective April 1, 2010. Roles and ResponsibilitiesAs the Executive Director Janet will be the principal spokesperson for the organization and the first point of contact for membership inquiries and general questions. She will provide leadership to the PODS Association and Board in the development, management, and evaluation of programs and proper alignment of staff and financial resources to meet defined goals and objectives within budget. She will lead the PODS Association Public Relations activities to ensure strong representation of the organization to the pipeline industry and expand the reach throughout North America and internationally. Career/Academic HistoryJanet has a B. S. in Chemical Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and Utah, with nearly 20 years of management and engineering experience in the Natural Gas, Oil, and Power industries. Prior to joining PODS, Janet was the GIS and Operations Engineering Supervisor for Questar Gas Management, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Personal DetailsJanet is married to Steve, who is also a Professional Engineer in the Oil and Gas Industry. They have one daughter, Emily, and as a family love to spend their spare time enjoying the many outdoor activities that Utah has to offer.
